A new road project is planned in Jammu and Kashmir.

It will build two tunnels under Sinthan Pass.

The tunnels will connect the Kishtwar and Anantnag sides.

Each tunnel will carry traffic in one direction.

Together, they will be about 20.69 kilometers long.

Roads leading to the tunnels will make the full project 38.611 kilometers long.

NHIDCL has invited companies to bid for the work.

The project is expected to make travel and goods movement easier through the mountains.
