Modi Holds Bilateral Talks With Leaders at BRICS Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met many leaders during the BRICS Summit in New Delhi.

On the second day, he held talks with leaders from several countries.

He spoke with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa about cooperation between India and South Africa.

Their discussions included trade, minerals, technology, food security and skills training.

Modi also met leaders from Egypt, Indonesia, the Philippines, Uganda, Burundi, Kazakhstan and Nigeria.

These meetings focused on improving partnerships in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, energy, trade and connectivity.

Modi said India wanted to support Africa and other developing countries.

Across three days, he held 15 formal bilateral meetings with national leaders.
