Bengaluru exhibitions, food pop-up and Krishna anniversary dance-drama
Bengaluru has several cultural events for people to visit.
One museum show looks at Indian wrestling through old paintings, objects and modern photographs.
It shows that wrestling can be about communities, work, identity and the human body, not just winning fights.
Another event is a special food pop-up combining Peruvian and Japanese ideas.
Chef Arturo Castro Salazar is serving dishes such as ceviche, yakitori and desserts.
In New Delhi, the dance-drama “Krishna” is celebrating 50 years.
It tells the story of Krishna’s journey from Gokul and Vrindavan to Kurukshetra.

MAP Bengaluru’s “Grip, Hold, Pin” exhibition explores Indian wrestling through historical objects, art and contemporary photography until 1 November.
The exhibition places Ragamala paintings, textile labels, joris and nals alongside photographic works to examine community, identity, labour and the body.
Heliconia is hosting a Peruvian-Japanese food pop-up by chef Arturo Castro Salazar at UNO Izakaya until 30 August.
The pop-up menu includes salmon ceviche, chicken yakitori, Panca black cod, Chocolate Pebble and Tres Leches.
“Krishna,” a 140-minute dance-drama directed by Shobha Deepak Singh, marks its 50th anniversary with performances in New Delhi from 29 August to 4 September.
