On Thursday morning, a group representing the Maharashtra government met with him.

They spoke with him in Patoda, in Beed district.

After the meeting, Jarange stopped his hunger strike.

He also paused his plan to go to Mumbai.

He said the government has three months to take action.

His protest could continue in another form if he believes the demands are not addressed.
