Manav Sardana buys ₹271 crore DLF Dahlias penthouse in Gurugram
A very rich man named Manav Sardana bought one of the most expensive homes ever sold in India.
He paid ₹271 crore for a penthouse, a special apartment at the top of a building, in Gurugram.
The penthouse is enormous, with a super area of about 17,200 square feet.
It is in a luxury building project called The Dahlias, built by a big company named DLF.
Manav's family runs a business called Imperial Auto that makes parts for cars and machines.
The business was started by his father in 1969 and was later bought by another big company called Warburg Pincus.
Other famous people have also bought homes in The Dahlias, including a famous cricketer named Shikhar Dhawan and an investor named Madhusudan Murlidhar Kela.
The Dahlias has about 420 homes across eight tall towers, and most of them have already been sold.
This shows that very expensive homes in Gurugram are becoming more and more popular, and the city is starting to compete with Mumbai for India's most expensive addresses.

Sardana is associated with Imperial Auto Industries, the Faridabad-based automotive components manufacturer co-founded by his father SB Sardana and Jagjit Singh in 1969, later acquired by private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
DLF launched The Dahlias in October 2024 as a 17-acre development in DLF Phase 5 with around 420 residences across eight towers and 15 duplex penthouses; DLF expects over ₹40,000 crore in revenue and has sold over 65% of units.
The Dahlias generated ₹4,828 crore in FY26 sales bookings, part of DLF's total FY26 bookings of ₹20,143 crore, following other big deals involving investor Madhusudan Murlidhar Kela and former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan.
