West Bengal to finalise new land policy after industry talks
A state in India called West Bengal wants new rules for giving land to businesses.
The rules are meant to help companies build factories and grow.
The minister in charge, Tapas Roy, talked to business leaders about this on Saturday.
He said the old government did not take care of businesses for many years.
He said lots of companies left the state because of that.

Commerce & Industries Minister Tapas Roy made the announcement at an industry seminar in Kolkata on Saturday.
A meeting to finalise the policy blueprint is scheduled for August 11 at the state secretariat Nabanna.
Roy criticised the previous Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government for neglecting industrial development for years.
Roy said 6,688 companies left the state under the previous regime and that a proper incentive policy is needed to attract investment.
