Karnataka Expects Rs 15,000 Crore Semiconductor Investments, 2,000 Jobs

The state says these projects could help suppliers, engineers, researchers and semiconductor workers.
Patil also invited several other companies to manufacture in Karnataka.

Applied Materials plans to invest Rs 3,600 crore in Karnataka over 10 years and has been allotted 140 acres at Bengaluru Signature Business Park.
The two projects are expected to create more than 2,000 high-quality and direct jobs combined.
Patil also urged Nexperia, Tokyo Electron, Fujifilm, Syrma SGS, AT&S, CG Semi and Ericsson to begin manufacturing in the state.
