Gujarat approves four Centres of Excellence for natural farming

The government of Gujarat wants to help farmers learn about natural farming.

The government has decided to build four special training centres called Centres of Excellence.

These centres will be set up in the districts of Navsari, Morbi, Bhavnagar and Chhota Udepur.

The government will spend 20 crore rupees on them in the year 2026-27.

Each centre can train up to 100 farmers at a time.

Farmers will get training, technical guidance and access to farming materials at the centres.

Both farmers who already do natural farming and farmers who want to start can use the centres.

A special board called the Gujarat Prakrutik Krishi Vikas Board will run the scheme, with guidance from Governor Acharya Devvrat.

The centres will work as model campuses where people can see how natural farming works.
