“That day I remember telling my aunt that I don’t know how long it would take because it’s a difficult song, too many hums in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. But ye uss din Raag Rasoi bagdi waali baat hogayi thi. That day God was definitely smiling at me. He said ‘No No, you are going to do it very quickly today.’ So that day I managed to sing the song in one third of the time, which is very surprising, because I really thought that I would take hours when I finished it soon.”

“I remember how nervous I was when I was going to sing Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, the title track. Because let me tell you, I do suffer from a lot of cold issues. And then I also have a lot of sinus. So sometimes when I go to sing a song, I am hoping and praying to God please don’t give me too many hums and tums. Because my nose will not work.”
