Veteran Officers Complete Trans-Oceanic Voyage
Two retired Indian military officers, who are also good friends, sailed from New Zealand to India on their yacht.
They are both in their 60s and did this to show that you can still have big adventures even when you're older.
They had a special ceremony to celebrate their successful journey, which was attended by many people, including other military officers and their families.
Two retired Indian military officers, Capt CDNV Prasad and Col K Srinivas, completed a 6-month voyage from New Zealand to India aboard their yacht Tystie.
The officers, both in their 60s, defied their age to undertake this adventurous journey.
The successful completion of their voyage was marked by a flag-in ceremony at Naval Base Visakhapatnam.
The event was presided over by Vice Admiral Kudravalli Srinivas and attended by naval personnel, alumni, and family members.
The officers' bond spans decades, having met as classmates at Sainik School Korukonda and later at the National Defence Academy.
