Varun Beverages Wins Exclusive Mondelez Distribution Rights Zimbabwe
Varun Beverages has made a new business deal in Zimbabwe.
Its Zimbabwe company will exclusively distribute Mondelez products there.
These products include chocolates, biscuits, candy and chewing gum.
The deal starts on October 1, 2026.
Varun Beverages plans to use its current delivery and sales network.
It says no new spending on buildings or equipment is planned for now.
The company also said its chief operating officer, Manmohan Rupal Paul, has left the job.
Varun Beverages shares moved slightly higher on September 25, although they were lower over the past month and year.
Varun Beverages’ Zimbabwe subsidiary signed an exclusive agreement with Mondelez South Africa to distribute chocolate, biscuit, candy and gum products across Zimbabwe.
The agreement was signed Wednesday and will take effect on October 1, 2026.
Varun Beverages said it will use its existing snacks distribution network and does not expect capital expenditure initially.
The company separately announced that Chief Operating Officer Manmohan Rupal Paul resigned, with September 24, 2026, as his last working day.
Varun Beverages shares rose 0.16% intraday on September 25, while falling 1.22% over one month and 4.14% over one year.
