Vir Beri Survives Scare At Maharashtra State Squash Open
Young squash players competed in a Maharashtra state tournament.
The event was held at the Bombay Gymkhana in Mumbai.
In the Boys’ U-17 group, top seed Vir Beri beat Aarav Rathi.
Aarav made the match close, especially in the second and third games.
Tanmay Samaiya and Aajay Agarwal also won their U-17 matches.
Shaurya Bakshi won a very close five-game match in the Boys’ U-13 group.
Other matches took place in the Boys’ U-13 and Girls’ U-15 categories.

Top seed Vir Beri defeated Aarav Rathi 11-6, 13-11, 12-10 in the Boys’ U-17 round of 32.
Tanmay Samaiya beat Manav Bhanej, while Aajay Agarwal defeated Pratik Daravada in other Boys’ U-17 matches.
Shaurya Bakshi rallied past Vishrut Arora in a five-game Boys’ U-13 contest.
