CPI(M) Makkal Santhippu Iyakkam Concludes In Thanjavur
The Communist Party of India (Marxist), or CPI(M), held a public outreach campaign in Thanjavur.
The campaign was called Makkal Santhippu Iyakkam.
It ended on Monday.
The party held the campaign across the state from August 26 to 31.
Party members visited four places in Thanjavur panchayat union.
They asked people about problems affecting their livelihoods.
They also talked with employment-scheme beneficiaries about wages and related issues.
S. Govindarasu led the local campaign, and S. Valentina took part.

The statewide campaign was held from August 26 to 31.
Party members met residents in Alakudi, Vannarapettai, Thirumalaisamudram and Maruthakudi.
They asked people about livelihood concerns and discussed wages with employment-scheme beneficiaries.
