Gold, Silver Ornaments and Cash Stolen in Pimple Saudagar Flat

Some thieves broke into a family's flat in Pimple Saudagar, a neighbourhood near the city of Pune in India.

The family was far away, visiting relatives in another country, so nobody was home.

The thieves took gold and silver jewellery and some cash.

Before going in, they sprayed paint on the CCTV security cameras so the cameras could not record them clearly.

When the family came back, they found their home turned upside down and reported it to the police.

The policemen are called the Sangvi Police, and they have registered a case to find the thieves.

They are checking videos from cameras in the area to figure out who did it.

Police think the thieves may have known the family was away, perhaps because someone told them, but that is just one idea they are checking.

Neighbours are worried because their area is usually considered safe and quiet.
