Mick Schumacher Joins IndyCar with RLL
Mick Schumacher, the son of a famous Formula One driver, is switching to race in the IndyCar Series in America.
He will drive for a team called Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
Mick has been racing in another big series called the World Endurance Championship for the last two years.
He is excited to race in America because he thinks it's more about fast and direct racing.
The team is also happy to have him and thinks he will do well.
The new season starts in March, and there will be some races on big oval tracks, including the famous Indianapolis 500.
Mick Schumacher signs with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) for the 2024 IndyCar season.
Schumacher previously raced in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) after leaving F1 with Haas in 2022.
IndyCar season starts on March 1, with six races on ovals or super-speedways, including the Indianapolis 500.
Schumacher impressed the RLL team during a test at the Indianapolis road course.
