Ferrari Honors Schumacher With Special Livery For Monza Anniversary
Ferrari is preparing special cars for its home race at Monza in Italy.
The cars honor Michael Schumacher, a famous Formula One driver.
Schumacher joined Ferrari in 1996 and raced for the team until 2006.
He won five championships in a row with Ferrari.
The cars are inspired by his first Ferrari, called the F310.
They include seven stars because Schumacher won seven world titles.
Ferrari will also show three cars he used during his career.
His former teammate Rubens Barrichello and driver Sebastian Vettel will drive the F2002 in tribute laps.
Ferrari will run Schumacher-inspired SF-26 cars for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc at the Italian Grand Prix.
The livery draws on Schumacher’s 1996 Ferrari F310 and includes his logo and seven stars representing his world titles.
The tribute marks 30 years since Schumacher joined Ferrari, where he raced from 1996 to 2006 and won five consecutive drivers’ championships.
Ferrari will display Schumacher’s F310, F2002 and 248 F1 at Monza during the race weekend.
Rubens Barrichello will drive the F2002 on Saturday, followed by Sebastian Vettel in a celebratory lap on Sunday.

Naturally, the 1996 F310, symbolising the beginning of that journey, alongside the 2006 248 F1, with which Michael brought his time racing in red to a close, as well as the Ferrari F2002, one of the most iconic cars of the Schumacher era.”
