Kohinoor Building Collapse: Builder Absconding, Aide Sent To Custody
A part of the Kohinoor Apartment building collapsed on July 30.
Ten people died and three were seriously injured.
Police are investigating whether repair work and construction problems contributed to the collapse.
Danish Shaikh, who was allegedly close to the builder, surrendered to police.
He was arrested and sent to police custody until September 8.
Investigators want to ask him about the repairs, money and safety permissions.
Another resident, Amritlal Nishad, had already been arrested over collecting repair money.
The builder and landowner, Bilal Khan, is still being sought by police.
Danish Ejaz Ahmed Shaikh surrendered to Bhoiwada Police nearly a month after the collapse.
A court remanded Shaikh to police custody until September 8.
