DRI Arrests Nigerian Woman With ₹1.19 Crore Drugs
Officials in Indore stopped a Nigerian woman who was travelling by bus to Pune.
They had received information that a woman passenger might be carrying drugs.
Officers checked her baggage at a bus agency near Teen Imli crossroads.
They found bags of white crystalline material and packets of coloured tablets.
Tests showed the substances included amphetamine, MDMA and cannabis.
The officers also seized hydroponic cannabis, sometimes called weed.
The total seized material was valued at about ₹1.19 crore on the grey market.
The woman was arrested under India’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence arrested a Nigerian woman in Indore on Monday.

Her baggage contained substances that field tests identified as amphetamine, MDMA and cannabis.
Authorities seized 1,120 grams of amphetamine, 296 grams of MDMA tablets and 10 grams of hydroponic cannabis.
The seized drugs had an estimated grey-market value of ₹1.19 crore, and the woman was arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985.
