Imagine you run a lemonade stand.

Every three months, you count your money to see how well you did, and companies do the same thing.

Many big Indian companies just shared their numbers for April, May and June.

The Life Insurance Corporation of India, often called LIC, made a lot more money this time.

Britannia, the company that makes biscuits, also increased its profit.

Premier Energies, which makes renewable energy equipment, did well too.

TVS Motor launched a special electric scooter called the iQube in Kenya, a country in Africa.

Meanwhile, some medicine companies like Dabur and Alkem got warnings from America's food and drug safety office, called the FDA.

The FDA checks that factories make their products safely.

Also, many companies announced that shareholders who own their shares today will get a dividend payment soon, so their shares are said to trade 'ex-dividend' on that day.
