At first, officials were told that 12 people from Gujarat were missing.

They later contacted Roma Dilipbhai Intwala and learned that she was safe.

This reduced the number still missing to 11.

The missing people come from several Gujarat districts.

Some were traveling toward the Kailash Mansarovar region.

Others were last known to be near a bridge and river close to the Nepal-China border.

The Gujarat government has opened helplines to help families get information.
