Sunny Deol Top Earner With ₹60 Crore For Batwara 1947

A new Hindi movie called Batwara 1947 is coming to theaters.

It tells a story from 1947, when a place called India was divided and the city of Lahore changed forever.

In the movie, a Muslim family moves into a big house that used to belong to a Hindu family.

The very old grandmother of the Hindu family refuses to leave her home.

At first, this causes tension between the two families.

But slowly, their relationship begins to change.

The movie is based on a famous play written in Urdu.

Reports say the movie cost about 150 crore rupees to make.

The reports also say Sunny Deol will be paid 60 crore rupees, more than anyone else in the movie.

The film comes out in theaters on August 14.
