Batwara 1947 Sees Major Box Office Drop on Sunday

A new movie called Batwara 1947 came out in theaters on August 14, 2026.

It is a drama about the Partition of India.

Some famous actors in it are Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and Shabana Azmi.

On the first day, not many people went to see it.

On the second day, which was Independence Day, more people came.

But on the third day, Sunday, fewer people went to see it.

The movie did not make 30 crore rupees in three days.

Critics said the movie was okay or good.

But many people chose to watch another movie called Awarapan 2 instead.

So Batwara 1947 did not do as well as expected.
