ED Raids Bengaluru Premises Over ISIS Funding

The Directorate of Enforcement raided eight premises in Bengaluru over alleged ISIS funding and recruitment activities.

The raids targeted two Bengaluru-based organizations, Iqra Welfare Trust and GFM Trust.

The investigation revealed that these organizations collected money and sent it to ISIS in Syria to run terrorist training camps.

Money was paid to the families of recruited youths and their expenses were borne by local organizations.

The National Investigation Agency had earlier identified these organizations as key players in the terror funding network.
