Panvel Campaign Promotes Organ Donation Awareness
The Panvel Municipal Corporation and Dhanvantari Organisation for Socio-Health Transformation have started a campaign to teach people about organ donation and healthcare.
They are doing this during the Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage, where many people are walking to a holy place.
The campaign includes street plays, healthcare camps, and giving out information pamphlets.
So far, they have helped many people and taught them about the importance of donating organs.
The campaign is very popular and has been appreciated by many.
Panvel Municipal Corporation and DOST launched an organ donation awareness campaign during the Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage.
The campaign includes street plays, healthcare camps, and public outreach to promote organ donation.
The initiative has reached Indapur, where thousands of Warkaris and local residents have welcomed it.
So far, 55 street plays, 14 healthcare camps, and 6 foot-care camps have been organized, benefiting thousands.
Around 8,000 informational pamphlets have been distributed as part of the awareness drive.
