Army Rescues Couple Amid Assam Floods, Video Viral
A video shows soldiers from the Indian Army pulling a couple out of deep floodwater in Assam, India.
The Army’s Spear Corps has been busy rescuing more than 1,000 people and giving medical help to over 200.
They also sent 19 tonnes of food, 30,500 food packets, 43,000 litres of water, fresh vegetables, milk, clothes, and hygiene kits.
The Army worked with the National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, and local authorities.
People online praised the Army for its quick and caring actions.
