First established in 2012, it was India’s first permanent interactive museum focused on Gandhi’s principles of peace, truth and ahimsa.
Renovated exhibits use digital technology, photographs, films, QR codes and interactive displays to explain Gandhi’s life and ideas.
A 78-foot-long collage contains more than 400 photographs, while the Memoria table presents key stages of Gandhi’s life.
The museum screens the 28-minute film ‘The Triumph and Tragedy of Mahatma Gandhi,’ narrated by Walter Cronkite.
