CPI launches nationwide Poru Yatra against Centre's policies
A group in India called the CPI went on a long walk called the Poru Yatra.
The walk is a way to protest, which means to complain and ask for change.
They started their walk in a place called Hanumakonda district.
A leader named Takkallapalli Srinivas Rao led the walk.
He said the central government is not being fair to ordinary people.
He said farmers, workers, young people and students are being ignored.
He also said the government is selling public companies that belong to everyone.
He said the government broke promises it made to the state of Telangana.
The CPI wants everyone to join the campaign to protect public property and people's rights.
The CPI flagged off the Hanumakonda district leg of its nationwide Poru Yatra at the Kazipet Water Tank.
