Revanth Reddy Says Congress Will Clear Fee Reimbursement Arrears

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said fee reimbursement is an important Congress program.

Fee reimbursement helps pay education costs for eligible students.

He said the previous government left unpaid bills totaling Rs 5,430 crore.

The current government has cleared Rs 1,410 crore of those arrears, he said.

Since it took office, the Congress government has paid Rs 1,475 crore toward fee reimbursement.

Overall, the government says it released Rs 3,488 crore during the last 32 months.

Reddy said student welfare and education will remain priorities.

He also promised that the government would continue clearing the unpaid amounts.
