BRS MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy says the Congress government is stopping Opposition politicians from speaking in the Assembly.

He says some Opposition MLAs were suspended and were not allowed to enter the building.

He also says many police officers and special forces were used to block them.

According to Palla, the MLAs wanted to discuss problems involving land, students, farmers and unpaid fee reimbursements.

He said women MLAs were also treated improperly during the incident.

Palla said complaints were made to two national commissions.

He also alleged that several cases were being filed against Opposition members.

He promised that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi would continue raising public issues.
