Pochettino Extends Contract With U.S. Through 2030 World Cup

Mauricio Pochettino, a 54‑year‑old soccer coach, has agreed to stay on as the United States men’s national team coach until the 2030 World Cup.

He took over in October 2024 and led the U.S. to the round of 16 in the 2026 World Cup, where they lost 4‑1 to Belgium.

During that tournament, the U.S. became the first seeded team to win three games in a single World Cup and finished the group stage with a game to spare.
