Casagrand Files DRHP for ₹1,220 Crore IPO
Casagrand, a real estate company in Chennai, has filed a DRHP to raise ₹1,220 crore through an IPO.
This money will be used to pay off some of their debts.
The IPO includes ₹1,200 crore of new shares and ₹20 crore from selling shares by existing shareholders.
As of June 2025, the company had 103 completed projects, 57 ongoing projects, and 21 upcoming projects.
They made a profit of ₹235 crore in the last financial year but had a loss of ₹32 crore in the first quarter of this year.
The company had previously filed for an IPO in September 2024 but withdrew it in January 2025.
This time, they are trying again with a slightly larger offer.
Casagrand Premier Builder Limited filed a DRHP with SEBI to raise ₹1,220 crore through an IPO.
The IPO includes ₹1,200 crore of fresh issue and ₹20 crore Offer for Sale by selling shareholders.
The company plans to use up to ₹900 crore of the net proceeds to repay debt.
As of June 30, 2025, the company had 103 completed projects, 57 ongoing projects, and 21 forthcoming projects.
The company's revenue for the quarter ended June 2025 was ₹172 crore, with a net loss of ₹32 crore.
