Sydney Sixers Sign Versatile Alice Capsey From Renegades
The Sydney Sixers have signed Alice Capsey to play in the next Women’s Big Bash League season.
Capsey previously played for the Melbourne Renegades.
She is a strong batter and can bowl off-spin.
She has also recently tried wicketkeeping for England.
This gives the Sixers more choices when selecting their team.
The Sixers currently do not have a confirmed wicketkeeper after Emma Manix-Geeves did not re-sign.
Capsey will also help replace the contribution of retired player Alyssa Healy.
Capsey said she is excited to return to Australia and play for the Sixers.
