Srikanth's China Masters Campaign Ends in Quarterfinal Loss

Kidambi Srikanth lost 16-21, 16-21 to Hong Kong’s Lee Cheuk Yiu in the China Masters quarterfinals.
The defeat ended Srikanth’s first quarterfinal run at a BWF World Tour Super 750 event or higher in three years.
Lee extended his head-to-head advantage over Srikanth, who has now lost their last four meetings.
Srikanth reached the quarterfinals after defeating Chi Yu-jen and World No. 9 Victor Lai.
India’s remaining challenge was the men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty.
