Putin Concludes India Visit After 18th BRICS Summit
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited India for a BRICS meeting.
The meeting brought together leaders from BRICS countries, partner countries and invited countries.
Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held talks.
They discussed cooperation between Russia and India in several important areas.
These areas included trade, defence, energy, space and people-to-people ties.
They also discussed conflicts in West Asia and the Black Sea region.
Putin said BRICS countries should work together and respect one another’s different cultures and histories.
After the summit, Putin left India from New Delhi.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh saw Putin off at Delhi airport.
Putin said BRICS cooperation is based on equality, good neighbourliness and respect for members’ interests, cultures and traditions.
Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed bilateral cooperation, regional conflicts and progress in political, economic, defence, energy, space and other sectors.
The leaders welcomed the first INNOPROM India exhibition, held in India from September 9 to 11, 2026, as a way to expand trade and industrial ties.
