Story TV launches India's first AI-integrated drama on Netaji
The Bose Network is a new show about the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, a famous freedom fighter from India.
It is made by Story TV, a platform that creates short shows you can watch on your phone.
The show is special because artificial intelligence, or AI, helped make it.
AI helped create old-looking streets, buildings, and scenes from the 1940s.
The story takes place in places like Calcutta, Kabul and Berlin, and even on two submarines.
Because of AI, the makers could show these faraway places without building them for real.
The story is based on history researched by a scholar named Chandrachur Ghose.
Actor Joy Sengupta plays Netaji in the show.
You can watch it starting August 15 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Story TV hopes to make more than 1,000 AI-powered shows by the end of the year.
Story TV will launch The Bose Network, an AI-integrated historical thriller on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's life and wartime movements, at midnight on August 15.
The series recreates the 1940s across Calcutta, Kabul, Berlin and two submarines, spanning four countries and four years of wartime history.
AI was used extensively in post-production to create period environments, with stAI contributing to 50% of Story TV's production workflow.
The show is based on research by Bose scholar Chandrachur Ghose, written and directed by Lalit Marathe, and stars Joy Sengupta as Bose.
All episodes will be available on the Story TV app in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu from August 15, as the platform targets over 1,000 AI-powered shows this fiscal.
