Indian Kurash Player Suspended After Positive Asian Games Test
Indian kurash athlete Yash Kumar Chauhan had a drug test during the Asian Games.
His sample was collected while he was competing on September 27.
The Olympic Council of Asia said the test found several substances that are not allowed in sport.
The substances named were Metandienone metabolites, GW1516 metabolites, and Mephentermine and its metabolite.
Chauhan was suspended for now while his case is considered.
He cannot compete, train, coach, or take part in other Games activities during the suspension.
He can challenge the suspension and ask for a second sample to be tested.
He lost his round-of-16 match in the 90kg event.
