Wild Bear Kills Man and Sister in Chhattisgarh After Cub Death
In a village in India, there is a wild bear.
The bear was very sad and angry because one of her baby bears had died.
On Wednesday, three brothers and sisters were working in a field.
Suddenly, the bear attacked them.
Sadly, the man and one of his sisters died in the attack.
His other sister was hurt and had to go to the hospital.
People in the village said the bear became angry after her baby died.
The bear stayed near the two people who passed away.
Forest officers came to help after they heard the news.
They told everyone to stay away from that place to be safe.
A wild bear killed 38-year-old Halal Khor Jurri and his sister Chamrin Bai (40) in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district on Wednesday.
Another sibling, Khorin Bai (30), was injured in the attack and admitted to a hospital in Kanker.
The attack happened in the afternoon in a field in Largaon Markatola village under the Narharpur forest range.
Villagers said the female bear had become unusually aggressive after the death of one of her cubs on Tuesday.
The bear lingered around the victims' bodies after the attack, and Kanker MLA Asharam Netam advised villagers to stay away from the area.
