Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu told banks to make loans available to all eligible people who need them.

He said loans should reach farmers, small businesses, women’s groups and other important sectors.

He wants future meetings to check each bank’s and district’s results carefully.

Naidu said lending to small businesses and tenant farmers was still not high enough.

He also asked banks to provide more loans for the PM Surya Ghar programme, which supports household solar projects.

Women’s self-help groups were praised because more than 99 percent of borrowers were repaying loans on time.

The Chief Minister asked officials to help TIDCO house beneficiaries obtain loans more quickly.

He also warned about cyber fraud and called for more public awareness.
