He reportedly promised to return if India won gold.

After the victory, he sent a message to the shrine’s trustee.

Sehrawat said Kallurti’s blessings helped the team succeed.

He plans to visit the shrine within two or three weeks after returning to India.

The shrine is connected to a local tradition called Daivaradhane.

Many people there are now waiting for Sehrawat to keep his promise.
