India–New Zealand FTA Set to Take Effect October 20

India and New Zealand have made a trade agreement.

It is scheduled to begin on October 20, 2026.

The agreement will allow all Indian exports to enter New Zealand without tariffs.

India expects the deal to encourage $20 billion of investment from New Zealand over 15 years.
