Narasapuram-Chennai Vande Bharat Express Launched

The train is an extension of the existing Vande Bharat train that runs between Chennai Central and Vijayawada, now traveling beyond Vijayawada to Narasapuram.
The train departs Chennai Central at 5:30 AM and will now travel through Gudivada and Bhimavaram before reaching Narasapuram, stopping at several stations including Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, Gudivada, and Bhimavaram.
The extension was approved by the Railway Board, and the train is expected to boost regional development, trade, and commercial activities, as well as enhance rail connectivity for the fisheries industry.
