Collector Assures Farmers of Urea Availability
In Khammam district, the Collector told farmers not to worry about a urea shortage.
He said there's plenty of urea available and it will be given out in an orderly way.
The Collector checked the urea distribution at a farm office and talked to farmers.
He explained that there are enough urea stocks at different places and it will be given to farmers based on the land they farm.
He asked farmers to buy only what they need and follow the rules to avoid crowds.
Other farm officials were also there during the check.
District Collector Anudeep Durishetty assured farmers of no urea shortage in Khammam district.
Total urea stock available is 13,795 metric tonnes, distributed across MARKFED, PACS, private dealers, and CRP stock.
Urea distribution is being managed systematically with one sale point per 2,000 acres and regulated through coupons and time slots.
Farmers are advised to purchase urea strictly based on their cultivated area and not to hoard.
The Collector emphasized cooperation with officials to ensure smooth distribution and appealed to farmers to follow the designated time slots for collection.
