Mamata Banerjee Predicts Trinamool Congress Return To Power Soon

Mamata Banerjee used a party rally to say that her party would soon return to power in West Bengal.

Her party lost the Assembly election to the Bharatiya Janata Party three months earlier.

She said she would travel across the state to meet people.

She also said she would walk if authorities stopped her from traveling.

Banerjee accused the Election Commission of India of helping manipulate the election and remove votes.

She said about 14,000 cases had been filed and that she would challenge them in the Supreme Court.

She questioned why central security forces were still in the state after the election.

She also criticized officials for removing a Trinamool Congress billboard from Abhishek Banerjee’s office.
