Two Bhiwandi Murder Cases Bring Four Arrests Within 24 Hours
Police in Bhiwandi are investigating two separate deaths reported within one day.
In the first case, a 19-year-old woman named Zainab allegedly died after a fight with her husband, Tabrez Alam.
Police say the fight happened in the Anjurphata area on September 18.
Alam was arrested and sent to police custody for five days.
In the second case, 34-year-old Rajesh Shukla was found dead behind a petrol pump.
Police allege that three men beat him with items including a broom and a mop.
The three men were arrested and remanded to police custody until September 23.
Investigators are collecting CCTV footage and other evidence.
