A man in Kolkata was tricked by people pretending to work for a bank.

The fraudsters allegedly changed his phone’s call-forwarding settings and accessed his bank account.
The man lost more than Rs 15 lakh.
He reported the incident on August 5.
Police followed where the money went and stopped it from being moved to other accounts.
A court then allowed the money to be returned.
Police gave the man all of his lost money back on August 18.
They reminded people never to share passwords, one-time passwords, or banking details with strangers.
