Delhi to Allot Souvenir Shops to Disabled at Dilli Haat
The Delhi government is giving souvenir shops at Dilli Haat to people with disabilities.
These shops will be given for one year, and maybe for another year if they do well.
The government wants to help people with disabilities earn money.
To get a shop, you must be at least 18 years old and have a disability certificate showing 40% or more disability.
You can't have any other shop in Delhi under disability schemes.
If you can't run the shop alone, a family member or someone you choose can help you.
The shop costs Rs 2.55 lakh per month, and the total contract value is Rs 30.71 lakh.
Delhi government to allot souvenir shops at Dilli Haat to persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
Shops will be allotted for one year, extendable for another year with a 10% increase in fee.
Eligible applicants must be above 18 years with a valid disability certificate of at least 40% disability.
Applicants must not own or operate any other kiosk, shop, or booth under Delhi government disability schemes.
Family members or authorized representatives can assist in managing the shop if the PwBD is unable to do so independently.
