Sports Governance Bill Becomes Law After Presidential Approval
India now has a new law called the National Sports Governance Act!
This means the government is changing how sports are run in the country.
The President approved the law on August 18, 2025.
One change is that some sports groups won't have to share information with everyone like before.
Also, people in charge of sports groups can now serve for only one term instead of two.
The law also creates a special group to solve sports disagreements quickly and a panel to make sure elections are fair.
The government can also limit India's participation in international events if needed.
