Badal backs student protest, demands resignations over Punjab paper leaks
Badal backs students’ protest, says time to kick out ‘Dilliwalas’ for exam scams in Punjab · indianexpress.com

Some college students in Punjab were upset because exam papers were leaked before tests.

Leaking means some people saw the questions early, which is not fair to others.

So the students gathered outside a big university in Patiala to protest.

They wanted the minister in charge of education to quit his job.

A political leader named Sukhbir Singh Badal came to support them.

He said the education and health ministers should take responsibility for the leaks and other exam problems.

He said more than ten exam scams happened and over ten lakh students were affected.

Badal wants people to remove the ruling party from power, saying it does not care about students.

He also said the state leader admitted in 2023 that one exam paper had leaked.
