WhatsApp's new group chat history sharing feature trends in India

WhatsApp has a new feature that lets group members share recent chat history with new joiners.

This is especially useful in India, where WhatsApp is very popular and group chats are often used for family and community updates.

The feature is currently being tested by some users on iPhones.

It allows group admins or members to share up to 100 messages from the last 14 days when adding someone new.

The shared messages are highlighted in a different color for the new member to easily identify them.
