Modi to Inaugurate Panchjanya, Commemorate Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 350th Shaheedi Diwas
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kurukshetra in Haryana on November 25.
He will open a big new monument called Panchjanya, which is a tribute to Lord Krishna’s sacred conch.
He will also visit a place called Mahabharata Anubhav Kendra, which shows important stories from the Mahabharata.
In the afternoon, he will join a special event to remember the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru.
A special coin and stamp will be released, and PM Modi will speak to the people.
Later, he will visit a holy place called Brahma Sarovar, which is linked to the Bhagavad Gita.
This visit is part of a bigger festival called the International Gita Mahotsav, which is happening from November 15 to December 5.
Vice President C P Radhakrishnan also visited a gurdwara in Delhi to pray and remember Guru Tegh Bahadur.
